Former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is expected to announce the 30 members of his new institute's scientific council in the coming days, a key step in his political comeback.
Following the announcement, Mr. Tsipras plans to launch a series of public events, according to media reports. The first event, likely focused on his upcoming book, is anticipated in Athens in early December. Four additional events are reportedly planned for Thessaloniki, Patras, Ioannina, and Heraklion, Crete.
The cross-nation tour, with approximately one event per month, is expected to run through March or April 2026.
The events are designed to build momentum for Mr. Tsipras's new political entity.
There is speculation the final event in Crete will serve as the platform for the official announcement of his new party, a location reportedly chosen for its symbolic significance.
