Η Μισέλ Ομπάμα πόζαρε με δερμάτινο κορσέ (2.400 δολαρίων), λευκή φούστα (4.900 δολ.) και λευκό πουκάμισο (1.350 δολ.), όλα με την υπογραφή Dior, για το εξώφυλλο του περιοδικού, που φιλοξενεί συνέντευξή της στην Οπρα Γουίνφρεϊ.

Η 54χρονη τους τελευταίους μήνες προωθεί το βιβλίο της, «Becoming», το οποίο κυκλοφορεί την Τρίτη. Στη συνέντευξη, η Ομπάμα παραδέχθηκε ότι ήταν τόσο πολυάσχολη ως Πρώτη Κυρία, που ξεχνούσε και σε ποιες χώρες είχε πάει. Ως παράδειγμα αναφέρει ότι κάποτε είπε στον επικεφαλής του επιτελείου της ότι θα ήθελε να πάει στην Πράγα, αλλά της είπαν ότι ήδη είχε βρεθεί στην πόλη, σε επίσημη επίσκεψη! Κατάφερε να το θυμηθεί μόνο όταν της έδειξαν φωτογραφία της από εκεί.

Η Ομπάμα μίλησε και για το πόσους περιορισμούς συνεπάγεται η ζωή στον Λευκό Οίκο, όπως ότι δεν ήταν ποτέ μόνη της ή δεν μπορούσε καν να ανοίξει ένα παράθυρο ή να βγει έξω χωρίς να προκαλέσει... φασαρία. Μάλιστα ανέφερε ότι και οι δύο κόρες της είχαν δοκιμάσει να ανοίξουν ένα παράθυρο, αλλά αμέσως η Μυστική Υπηρεσία τους ζήτησε να το κλείσουν.
