Ξέσπασαν επεισόδια στις ΗΠΑ μετά την ανακήρυξη του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ ως προέδρου της χώρας.

Φοιτητές αλλά και πολίτες, πολέμιοι του νεοεκλεγέντος προέδρου κατέβηκαν σε πορείες. Εκτεταμένα επεισόδια έγιναν στο Οκλαντ της Καλιφόρνια, ενώ αντιδράσεις υπήρξαν και σε άλλες πόλεις, όπως το Σαν Φρανσισκο και το Μανχάταν.

Στην Καλιφόρνια σύμφωνα με δημοσιογράφο του Reuters και τοπικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, διαδηλωτές πυρπόλησαν ομοίωμα του Τραμπ, λάστιχα αυτοκινήτων, κάδους απορριμμάτων και έσπασαν βιτρίνες καταστημάτων στο κέντρο του Οκλαντ, απέναντι από τον Σαν Φρανσίσκο.Λίγα χιλιόμετρα μακρύτερα, οι φοιτητές του Πανεπιστημίου του Berkeley οργάνωσαν διαμαρτυρία στην πανεπιστημιούπολη.

Διαδήλωση πραγματοποιείται επίσης στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Καλιφόρνιας Davis, όπου οι φοιτητές έκλεισαν δρόμους και έκαναν πορεία φωνάζοντας συνθήματα κατά του Τραμπ: «Δεν είσαι εσύ η Αμερική, Εμείς είμαστε η Αμερική».

Ενας διαδηλωτής στο Οκλαντ χτυπήθηκε από αυτοκίνητο σε εθνική οδό, σύμφωνα με τα τοπικά μέσα ενημέρωσης.
