International auditors meet Friday with Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and Economy Minister Giorgos Stathakis.
Stathakis appeared rather pensive while Tsakalotos was much more cheerful on their way to the Athens Hilton, the hotel where auditors will stay during the presence in Athens and where some of the talks will take place.
Thursday's central committee meeting of Syriza party coincided with the arrival in Athens of the International Monetary Fund's mission chief, Delia Velculescu.
The two other main mission chiefs are already in the Greek capital but Velculescu's much-anticipated presence has been delayed until yesterday.
The European Commission will be represented by Declan Costello, the European Central Bank by Rasmus Rüffer.
The group formerly known as the “Troika” is now being renamed as "Quadriga" to note the inclusion the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) in the talks. The ESM - eurozone’s bailout fund which will fund the third rescue package – will be represented by of mission chief Nicola Giammarioli.
Wes McGrew, IMF's resident representative in Greece, will also attend the meeting.
