Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will have a meeting with Greece's Parliament Speaker Zoe Konstantopoulou in his office at noon on Thursday.
Sources close to Konstantopoulou said the Greek premier had accepted her request to meet and have a discussion concerning to the letter that she sent to both Tsipras and to President of the Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
In her letter the combative Speaker of Parliament asserted the measures demanded by Greece creditor's were a “violent attack on democracy,” arguing that lawmakers had been given very little time to study the voluminous bill.
Konstantopoulou, voted against the second raft of reforms demanded by the country’s creditors, after shrugging off demands from pro-European legislators during the debate that she resign.
Konstantopoulou can only be replaced through a no confidence vote.
