A coordination meeting convened by Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Vasilis Kikilias with the participation of local government officials and security agencies to strategize for the fire concluded late on Thursday afternoon.

Vathrakogiannis also reported a total of 50 agricultural and forest fires had taken place in the past 24 hours, with 45 contained at their initial stages, while firefighting forces are actively managing five remaining blazes.
