European Union defense ministers, including Greece’s Nikos Dendias, has met in Copenhagen to discuss continued military support for Ukraine and plans to bolster the bloc's own defense readiness.
The informal meeting focused on the EU's response to Russia's ongoing aggression and a review of the "Defense Readiness 2030" white paper, which aims to strengthen Europe's collective security capabilities by the end of the decade.
On the sidelines of the summit, National Defense Minister Mr. Dendias held a separate meeting with his Cypriot counterpart, Vasilis Palma, to discuss enhancing bilateral defense cooperation and regional security issues.
The summit reflects the EU's ongoing effort to form a more unified military and security posture in response to the war in Ukraine and other geopolitical challenges.
