Three Chinese nationals died after their vehicle collided head-on with a truck on the Ancient Mycenae-Tiryns connecting road in the Argolid on Thursday afternoon.
Police said a Chinese, 41, was driving the car with his compatriots, 41 and 48, when the accident happened under unknown circumstances. Twelve firefighters arrived on the scene and extricated the three Chinese, who were unconscious and driven by three ambulances to a hospital that confirmed their deaths.
The truck driver, 48, was arrested and the Argos-Mycenae police are investigating the cause of the accident.
