A total of three foreign nationals were arrested during a police operation on Monday in various areas of Thessaloniki.
They include two Turkish nationals, aged 38 and 30, and a 28-year-old French national. A further six Turkish nationals were also taken in for questioning but were released, as no evidence was found against them. Specifically, the 38-year-old and 28-year-old are accused of violating drug laws.
The 30-year-old was arrested after it emerged that he was the subject of an INTERPOL Türkiye Red Notice and wanted by Turkish authorities to stand trial for drug trafficking. The arrested individuals were taken to the relevant prosecuting authority.
