The 25-year-old arrested for involvement in the murder of a 19-year-old youth by football hooligans in Thessaloniki's Harilaou district has been given until Friday to prepare his testimony to the 7th Thessaloniki examining magistrate, who is handling the case.
The 25-year-old suspect was taken into custody after he turned himself in voluntarily on Tuesday, after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The examining magistrate is due to hear the testimony of the first three suspects also accused of participating in the murderous assault, who were arrested on Sunday along with another five involved in the case. According to sources, however, only two will finally testify on Wednesday and their transfer to the magistrate's office has not yet taken place.
