Temporary traffic regulations will be in effect on Metro Line 2 during night hours, starting Sunday, March 15, on the section “Omonia–Acropolis”, due to rail replacement works and the installation of a 5G network in the Athens Metro.
Specifically, according to information from STASY, from Sunday until Monday, March 23, the stations “Omonia” (Line 2), “Panepistimio,” “Syntagma” (Line 2), and “Acropolis” will close at 21:40, two and a half hours earlier than the regular closing time, from Sunday to Thursday.
The Syntagma station will remain open for Line 3 (“Dimotiko Theatro – Doukissis Plakentias – Airport”), and Omonia station will remain open for Line 1 (“Kifisia – Piraeus”).
During the works, trains on Line 2 will operate between “Anthoupoli – Metaxourgeio” and “Elliniko – Syngrou Fix” stations.

From Anthoupoli to Elliniko: 21:25 (departures from Omonia at 21:36, Panepistimio at 21:38, Syntagma at 21:40, Acropolis at 21:41).
From Elliniko to Anthoupoli: 21:20 (departures from Acropolis at 21:36, Syntagma at 21:38, Panepistimio at 21:39, Omonia at 21:41).
