Two brothers and a 77-year-old man who were part of a treasure-hunting expedition that led to the death of another man have been released from custody pending trial, authorities said.
The men are banned from leaving the country and must report to their local police station monthly.
The case involves a 53-year-old man who died in late September after being trapped for 12 hours in a 22-meter (72-foot) tunnel the group had illegally dug in a mountainous area near Gonnoi.
They were reportedly searching for Ottoman-era gold coins when the tunnel collapsed.
According to the 77-year-old suspect, the two brothers fled the scene before rescuers arrived.
However, their lawyers claim the men instructed him to call for help and said the dig was driven by financial hardship. An investigation into the death is ongoing.
