The 20yo Albanian, who is accused of the murder of 19yo Alkis in Harilaou in Thessaloniki, was given a deadline to testimony to the prosecutor.
He was given until Monday to prepare his testimony to the magistrate in charge of the case. He is to remain in police custody until that time. According to sources, he denies active involvement in the assault on the victim.
The suspect turned himself in to Albanian police after Greek authorities issued an international warrant for his arrest and agreed to return to Greece in order to testify and stand trial. He was handed over to Greek authorities at the Krystallopigi border crossing late on Thursday.
