A stray dog that strolled into a pet store, picked out a bed and walked off with it has become an internet sensation, and the store's owners have let it keep its prize.
Security camera footage, viewed millions of times on social media, shows the dog walking calmly into the shop.
It ignores the food and toys and heads straight for the aisle with pet beds.
The dog picks a soft, padded bed, grabs it carefully in its mouth and trots out through the front door as stunned employees look on.
The owners were moved rather than angered by the unexpected "theft."
They said the dog could keep the bed so it would have a warm place to sleep on cold nights.
Social media users praised both the dog's cleverness and the store owners' kindness. Many called the clip a heartwarming reminder of the hardships faced by stray animals as winter approaches.
It was not immediately clear where the video was filmed or when.
Stray animals are a common sight in many countries, and animal welfare groups often urge people to adopt pets and support shelters during the colder months.
