Movie theaters across Greece will offer tickets for a flat rate of just €2 on Thursday, Oct. 30, for the country's annual celebration of National Cinema Day.
The initiative, now in its fourth year, is a nationwide effort by the Greek cinema industry to make film accessible to everyone and to revive the shared cultural experience of going to the movies.
The symbolic €2 price will apply to all films, at all cinemas, and for all screenings throughout the day.
From major blockbusters to independent films, moviegoers can choose any movie they wish to see.
Organizers said the event is an open invitation for families, friends, and film enthusiasts to gather and enjoy the magic of the big screen.
The celebration is expected to draw large crowds to theaters across the country.
