The prosecutor in the Golden Dawn appeal trial is scheduled to deliver her final recommendation on Dec. 12, after the defendants concluded their statements on Friday.
The final testimony was given by former Golden Dawn member of Parliament, Ioannis Lagos. Mr. Lagos described the trial as a "political conspiracy."
"I know that I will not find justice here, but I intend to take the case to the European courts," Mr. Lagos told the court.
Giorgos Roupakias, who was convicted in the first trial of murdering anti-fascist rapper Pavlos Fyssas, did not appear in person to testify.
His lawyer submitted a statement to the court expressing remorse.
"I want to humbly ask for forgiveness for the unspeakable pain I have caused," Mr. Roupakias's statement read.
The long-running appeal trial will now pause until December for the prosecutor's recommendation on the final sentences.
