The data also provides insights into public opinion on road safety penalties and the increasing use of artificial intelligence.

Zoe Konstantopoulou, leader of the left-wing party Course of Freedom, surged to 8%, up four points from the last measurement.

Mr. Nikos Androulakis, head of Pasok, dropped three points and now ranks fourth with 5%, falling behind Mr. Kyriakos Velopoulos, who scored 6%.

The first part of the Alco poll, aired Monday on Alpha TV, showed New Democracy leading in voting intention with 24.7%, a 13.1-point gap over Course of Freedom at 11.6%. Pasok followed in third place with 10.4%, losing one point.

In the category of most successful government ministers, Mr. Nikos Dendias remains the frontrunner with 26% support across all voters.

Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis ranks second with 13%, followed by Mr. Kostis Hatzidakis at 8%. Among New Democracy voters, Mr. Dendias commands a dominant 54%, with Mr. Pierrakakis at 34% and Mr. Hatzidakis at 28%.

The survey also highlighted strong public concern over traffic violations.

Fifty-five percent of respondents reported seeing drivers under the influence of alcohol recently, a figure that jumps to 80% among people aged 17 to 24.

An overwhelming 90% of the public supports harsher penalties for driving under the influence, driving without a license, or engaging in reckless behavior.

Regarding artificial intelligence, half of young people aged 17 to 24 said they use AI applications daily, with another 39% saying they use them often.

The data shows a steady decline in AI usage as age increases.

The poll illustrates shifting political preferences, heightened concern for public safety, and the rapid adoption of new technologies among Greece’s youth.
