The extension of the investment clawback until 2030 was announced by the Minister of Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis.
Speaking at the 6th Conference “ygeiamou” (my health) organised by “Proto Thema” newspaper, he stressed that the investment clawback has been successful, and this, as he said, is reflected in the creation of 10 factories, 14 research centres and 22 production units. “The sector has generated 1.5 billion euros of investment," he said, adding that “we intend to extend the investment clawback, which is equivalent to 75 million euros a year and which was essentially financed by the Recovery Fund, to 2030 and to support it with national resources.”
Pierrakakis also referred to the funds available through the state budget. “In the bill that we will bring with the Deputy Minister of Finance Thanos Petralias, we will extend this increase for 100 million euros per year until 2030”. The relevant provision will be included in the next bill of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance.
