Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will chair a meeting of the government's Economic Policy Council on Thursday, with discussions centered on the European Union's multiannual financial framework and Greece's national infrastructure planning.
The agenda will focus primarily on two issues: the EU's long-term budget framework and the government's strategy for national networks spanning roads, energy, telecommunications and rail infrastructure.
Later that evening, at 8:15 p.m., Mr. Mitsotakis will take part in a discussion with Hemant Taneja, CEO of venture capital firm General Catalyst, as part of an event organized by Endeavor Greece at the Pnyx in Athens.
The engagement with Mr. Taneja comes amid the Greek government's continued push to strengthen ties with international investors and technology leaders, part of a broader strategy aimed at boosting foreign direct investment, which reached a 35-year high in 2025 according to recent UNCTAD data.
