According to the National Meteorological Service, increased cloud cover with localised rain is forecast for Crete, the eastern Cyclades and the Dodecanese on Tuesday.
Light snowfall is also expected in mountainous and semi-mountainous areas of Crete until midday. Weather conditions in the rest of the country will be generally fair.Winds will blow from northerly directions at 3 to 5 Beaufort, locally reaching 6 over the seas and 7 to 8 Beaufort in the south-eastern Aegean, gradually easing. Temperatures will rise in terms of maximum values, reaching around 8C in northern mainland areas, 12 to 13C in the rest of the country and locally up to 14C in island regions.
Frost is expected in mainland areas during the morning and evening hours, with locally severe frost forecast in northern regions during the early morning.
