Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, in an interview with MEGA TV, emphasised that the government's policy is to implement reforms that combine economic efficiency with social sensitivity.
He also stressed that the government has laid the foundations for social policy to continue in 2026.
Referring to the economic benefits announced by the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), he stressed that "these are things we owed to society.
They are the result of the pro-growth policy implemented by the government and of the actions that I promoted as Minister of National Economy and Finance from 2023 onwards to tackle tax evasion. Now is the time for the middle class, not only for employees but also for pensioners, freelancers, villages, and islands."
