Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is chairing a cabinet meeting Friday morning to discuss a wide-ranging agenda of legislative reforms touching on the economy, environmental policy, and Greece’s upcoming presidency of the EU Council.

A key focus of the meeting will be on development. Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos is set to introduce new legislation to accelerate strategic investments, while Environment and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou will present a new Town Planning and Spatial Planning Code.

With the new school year approaching, Education Minister Sofia Zacharaki will brief the cabinet on preparations.
