The United States Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Gillfoyle, addressing an event on Friday evening celebrating the Greek Exporters Association’s (SEVE) 50th anniversary since its founding, underlined that Northern Greece is vital for the strength and depth of the US–Greece bilateral relationship.
She said that this region is the driving force of economic growth, driven by innovation, exploration and ingenuity. Gillfoyle stressed that the fact that so many American companies have chosen to invest and expand in Northern Greece, whether Deloitte, Pfizer or Chubb, and the human capital found here, testifies to the region’s growing economic significance.
As the US Ambassador to Greece said, this move has also inspired others to take it into account and consider the possibility of coming here. Gillfoyle also noted that the cooperation between the United States and Greece has never been stronger or more vital than it is today.
