Firefighters rescued two lost hikers, aged 42 and 37, at the Loutra Oreas Elenis area of the Peloponnese , finding one of them unconscious, the fire service said.
The operations center was alerted at about 3:30 p.m. and sent six firefighters with three vehicles from the Corinth fire station.
The pair had become disoriented during a hike.
Rescuers found both men a short time later.
The 42-year-old was unconscious. Firefighters carried him on a stretcher to an accessible point, where an ambulance from the national emergency service EKAB took him away. His condition was not given.
The 37-year-old was found safe and taken to a secure spot.
The fire service did not say how long the men had been missing or what caused the first man to lose consciousness.
Loutra Oreas Elenis, or Helen's Baths, is a seaside settlement about 10 kilometers from Corinth, known for its hot springs and pebble beach, with wooded hills and trails nearby.
Greek fire crews are regularly called to rescue hikers in rough terrain, particularly in autumn, when shorter days make it easy to lose the way.
