The Greek labor market showed a positive flow of wage employment in 2021, with new hirings exceeding retirements by 133,082 despite difficulties posed by the pandemic crisis, the Labor & Social Affairs ministry said on Friday.
In a report issued by "Ergani" IT system, new hirings totaled 2,395,429 in 2021, while retirements reached 2,262,347, leaving a positive balance of 133,082 job positions. In December, the balance was slightly negative (2,598 job positions).
