National Defense Minister Nikos Dendias attended the Informal meeting of EU defence and foreign affairs ministers in Copenhagen on Friday.
The informal defense ministers meeting took place on Friday, to be followed by the informal foreign ministers meeting.
EU defense ministers discussed the situation in Ukraine and the European Union's defense readiness, in the context of the White Paper for European Defense "Readiness 2030". They also discussed the EU's missions and operations in the context of the common security and defence policy (CSDP).
On the sidelines of the informal meeting, Dendias met with his counterpart of the Cyprus Republic Vasilis Palmas, with whom he discussed boosting the defense cooperation of the two countries in various sectors including innovation, and current developments in the greater region's security.
