As Greek police intensify a manhunt for a 64-year-old fugitive accused of attempting to rape a disabled woman, his estranged daughter has come forward to reveal he sexually abused her as a child.
The suspect is wanted following a harrowing attack on a 25-year-old wheelchair-bound woman in the Athens neighborhood of Kypseli on Saturday. While authorities scour the capital, the suspect's daughter broke years of silence in a television interview, detailing a horrific history of familial trauma.
"He raped me once when everyone was out. I was 7 years old in Albania. I never reported it; I was terrified," she told Mega TV.
The daughter explained that the abuse eventually led to a complete fracture in their relationship. She recounted confronting her father during a volatile argument before cutting ties permanently.
"I confronted him; he called me crazy, and said I imagined it," she said.
The explosive allegations underscore the long shadow of the suspect's alleged violence. Greek authorities have yet to make an arrest in the Kypseli assault case, and the manhunt for the 64-year-old remains active.
