New AADE application supports people with communication difficulties

A new application for serving people with communication difficulties is being launched by the Hellenic Revenue Authority (AADE).

The new application facilitates autonomous access and is available for service via video call from the Taxpayers' Service Centre and myAADElive. In the pilot phase, issues related to income, registration and the granting of “taxpayer identification number and key number” or only “key number”, respectively, will be served. In particular, the following possibilities are offered:

For people with hearing difficulties there is automatic, AI subtitling in Greek, in real time and interpretation in Greek Sign Language with the online presence of an interpreter.

For foreign language users there is automatic, AI translation in real time (in English, French, Urdu, Russian, Arabic, Turkish, Filipino).

The new application is available by appointment via the AADE website (www.aade.gr) and is available Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 14:30.

The pilot operation to assist persons with communication difficulties will run until 15 July.
